An octagonal cased glass antique (likely French) perfume bottle. Although it does easily stand up, I would describe it as a lay-down bottle as it's a tapered shape that is smaller at the base. It features a thick outer casing of faceted 8 sided clear glass, with an inner ribbon swirl design in alternating colours of cobalt blue, white and lime green.

Capped with a well fitting ornate antique goldtone hinged metal lid. I imagine it may have originally had an inner ground glass stopper.

11cm long.

This bottle presents beautifully and will be a highlight piece in any collection.

On close inspection there are several small flea bites, particularly around the base.
