About buying collectables

Firstly, we know the cost of postage is important to our customers.

Most of the items offered in the Paisley store are antique or vintage. Some show wear from many years of use, some have very minor wear from “special occasion” use, others have had a cushy life in a crystal cabinet and have never been used.
Most of these items have been hand crafted, hand cut or etched and hand finished, variations such as imperfections within the glass or under the glaze on china, bubbles, tool marks, furnace ash, folds and slight differences in size from item to item even within a set are inherent with vintage and antique items and are not considered damage, we will always note any imperfections that will be obvious when the item is on display or will affect the use of the item.
We don’t often stock damaged items but occasionally, if we think there is a demand for the item regardless of a small chip or hairline crack, we will list the item and the damage will be clearly noted.
There is a condition statement on every item, please read and ask questions if in doubt & we’ll be happy to help.

Packaging is done expertly and with great care to ensure the safe arrival of your goods. We have a proven track record of sending even the most fragile glassware safely to the furthest corners of the country.
We have a policy of using the most environmentally friendly packing products available. Our green bubble wrap is 100% Oxy-Biodegradable, the void fill (to give your goods a comfortable journey) is 100% biodegradable and both products are Australian made. The boxes we use are made from recycled materials and may be seconds.

We are usually able to get your items packed & posted within 2 business days after receiving cleared payment. PayPal payments clear instantly but please note that PayPal eCheque payments take around 7 days to clear. Bank deposit can take a day or two to clear. PayPal is the best option for speedy delivery.

Pick up is not available at this time.

You can shop with confidence as we have a 14 day money back refund policy. Items need to be returned unused and in the original packing material -to ensure they arrive back to us without damage. If you would like to return an item simply contact us so we can provide you with return details. The buyer is responsible for return postage costs.
